The Vision
Gardens that don’t just look beautiful. Gardens that help people heal.
Founder Triston Parsons originally enrolled at UAB for occupational therapy. The instinct to help people recover, regulate, and find rhythm never left. Vida Gardens is what happens when that instinct meets a landscape company , sensory gardens designed alongside care providers, families, and patients themselves.
Four Pillars
What we’re building toward.
-
Pediatric Wellness
Sensory gardens designed alongside pediatric therapists. Tactile, regulating, and safe spaces for children with sensory processing needs.
-
Geriatric Wellness
Memory gardens and accessible outdoor rooms designed with senior living communities, tested by the residents who use them.
-
Sensory Gardens Nonprofit
A 501(c)(3) building public sensory gardens across the Southeast, free for the families who need them most.
-
Therapeutic Nursery
An attached nursery growing the specimen plants Vida Gardens specifies, closing the loop from seed to installed garden.
